30/09 Greenham Common

Location: Greenham Common Western Enclosure Week 40
Session: 30-Sep-2020, 07:30 to 10:40hrs
Notes: A few more Chiffchaffs today and Goldcrest numbers increasing, no Blackcaps though. Nice to meet up with DL. The threat of rain late morning proved to be correct as the sky started to blacken after 10:00hrs and it began to spot with rain, so nets down early at 10:30hrs.
Present:  JL,IW,DL
Weather: Overcast, bright early, cool, WSW light breeze, light rain began about 10:20hrs.
Nets: 48metres in 3 net rides, two 18M and a 12M net up from 08:00 to 10:30hrs
Lure (Audio): Warblers, Autumn, SK/LR, Yellow-browed Warbler intermittently.

Recaptures: (none)
Sightings 25 Species: A bit quieter than yesterday; probably missed a few. Still a few Swallows through but no sign of the pipit/finch flock.
