Location: Greenham Common Western Enclosure Week 37
Session: 16/09/2021, 07:40 to 11:00hrs
Notes: A full on session with two good captures, one of 23. Overall, the same number of Blackcap and Chiffchaff as yesterday plus a few tits and another Firecrest, the fourth of the autumn, and another Dunnock, the tenth over the last two weeks.

1st CY male Firecrest in partial juvenile moult, head feathers developing adult plumage.

Weather: overcast with sunny periods, calm, warm
Nets: 48metres in 3 rides of 18M, 18M, 12M up from 08:00 to 10:30hrs
Lures Audio: Audio – Sylvia and Phylos Warblers, Crests, Redstart, Yellow-browed Warbler, Grasshopper Warbler, Scarce Summer Migrants (chats, pipits, thrushes etc)

Sightings: Too busy to count species just those noted while ringing listed. At least two separate Grey Wagtails over north.
