Blue Tit         ringed 21/09/2020

Sightings: Three thrushes dropped into birch trees in the distance to the south of the heath, too far to ID but probably Song Thrush. Managed to find two Blackbirds out on the heath, they a very scarce compared to previous years. A Sparrowhawk, probably a male, flashed low over south and autumn Skylarks high over going west. Jays very quiet  just one scolded briefly in the woods; none of the flying back and forward of the past 10 days or so. And, maybe the last Swallows of the year over south.
