Session: 15/10/2023  07:30 to 11:30hrs

Notes:  Decided to only put up 1 and 2x18M nets along 1A ride and 2x18M nets at the southern end of 2A ride. Started well with this juvenile male Sparrowhawk but after this we had a quiet session with a few Chiffchaffs the only migrants around and a bit different to last year's matching visit. Probably our last session here for this year.
Present: IW,JHW,JL,LC,NC.
Weather: Bright, sunny, clear, calm, cold
Nets: 90M along one reed bed ride up from 08:00 to 11:00hrs
Lures: (BC-CC-GC-FC), (RE-FF), (GH-RW-SW-RB-AW), (GC-FC-YB) intermittently.

Wren                    ringed: 09/04/2023

Sighting: Water Rail calling, little activity otherwise, Lesser Redpoll and Siskin flew over late in the session. Only insects noted were several hoverflies.
