Session: 14-Sep-2016 07:15 to
10:40hrs
Headlines: Similar to yesterday.
Just when I thought I might not see another Willow Warbler this year one turns
up in the first net round. A few more Blackcaps this time, would be nice to
have few more. Coal Tit out on the heath is not unusual; we capture one or two
here each year. We tried to lure the Long-tailed Tit flock that was calling in
the woods but no response. Dropped my bottom lens protector sometime during
the session, not there half an hour later when I went back to look for it. I
had to remember the lock combination to get off the common as the catch had been
changed between going on and coming off this morning.
